- Use the 250K value for guitars with standard single-coil pickups (like Telecaster, Precision Bass,and Jazz Bass).
- Use the 500K value for guitars equipped with humbucker pickups (which require a brighter-sounding pot).

The CTS precision audio curve gives you a smoother, more accurate response than budget potentiometers. Turn your guitar volume up to 10, the volume increases gradually without any sudden flattening that could interfere with your playing style.
Depending on the model, each pot includes a flat washer, a lock washer, and one or two hex mounting nuts for custom height adjustment on a pickguard or control plate.
If your guitar is an import... and you want to update the pots, you may have to enlarge the diameter of the holes on the body very slightly.
