A 0.001uf capacitor and a 100K or 150KOhm resistor are common values used for Treble Bleed.

Prefect for Fender, Gibson and guitar with 'single and Humbucker pickup'.
Personally, I use 600V caps for humbuckers and 100V caps for single pickups.

In the early days of Treble Bleed, many people just used a capacitor. What we now call the "Simle Mod", but using only the capacitor, many guitarists and technicians found that when they turned down the volume, they kept the highs but also removed a lot of the bass. By adding a resistor to the condenser, some guitarists and technicians were able to correct this lack of bass while keeping the highs. This is how Fender created the Tone Saver.
