Super Switch: The term "Super Switch" indicates it has more poles (switching circuits) than a standard switch, offering far greater wiring flexibility.

5-Way: It has five distinct lever positions, just like a standard Stratocaster switch.

4-Pole: This is the critical feature. It means the switch has four independent switching circuits (or "poles"), typically with 6 lugs per pole (24 total lugs). A standard 5-way switch only has 2 poles.

Oak-Grigsby switches are made by Electroswitch, the parent company that also makes CRL, the high-end lever switches Fender has used for decades.

Oak-Grigsby switches are made in Mexico, so they are cheaper than the CRL switches which are made in the USA, this has prompted Fender to switch from CRL to Oak for a large part of its guitar production.

On the other hand, all custom shop guitars are still equipped with CRL switches.
