The Telecaster control plate is a distinctive component of the Fender Telecaster electric guitar, housing the switch, volume control, and tone control.
The classic Telecaster control plate is a long, narrow metal plate (usually chrome, nickel, black, or gold) that sits below the bridge and holds the essential electronics:
