Y10636 3-Way Lever switch - Pickup selector mainly used on imported guitars
Aftermarket Components for imported guitar.
The Y10636 3-position selector switch is a blade-type pickup selector switch most commonly used on imported electric guitars equipped with two or three pickups, such as many Stratocaster (Strat) or Telecaster (Tele) models and other imported guitars that use a 3-position selector switch.
This type of switch allows the guitarist to select three different combinations of the instrument's pickups (the neck pickup alone, the neck and bridge pickups, or the bridge pickup alone).
Position 1: Bridge pickup alone.
Position 2: Bridge and Neck pickups in combination.
Position 3: Neck pickup alone.
The specific reference Y10636 corresponds to an imported version of a 3-way switch available on the aftermarket.
Ideal replacement for Squier guitars, imported Strats, Teles, and other imported guitars equipped with 3-position lever/blade pickup selectors.

Y10636 3-Way Lever switch
Fender 'Oak-Grigsby' switches are made by Electroswitch, the parent company that also makes CRL, the high-end lever switches Fender has used for decades.
Oak-Grigsby switches are made in Mexico, so they are cheaper than the CRL switches which are made in the USA, this has prompted Fender to switch from CRL to Oak for a large part of its guitar production.
On the other hand, all custom shop guitars are still equipped with CRL switches.Note: If you are not satisfied with your purchase, you may return it.
